The owner and CEO of The Sharper Lens, Michael Earp, first began his photography career after receiving his first camera, a Christmas present from his parents. That present was a Kodak Brownie. it is now part of his personal museum of cameras that he has used over the years.

In 1968 Mike’s photography would begin to seek a commercial aspect. Being highly technical in nature with a background in electronics, he opened his own business, United Electronics.

A professional rider practicing for an upcoming contest at the Puyallup Fair. Each contest entry submits a picture to the riding judges for additional consideration. Our rider was to make a technical error during the riding portion of the contest but did snag a second place award with the help of this picture.
